About cookies
Last revised 1 May 2025
This Cookie Policy explains how Westrelaine Pty Ltd ("Westrelaine", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit westrelaine.live or access our trading platform. By using the Service, you recognise the practices described in this policy. You can amend your preferences through your browser or our cookie settings centre.
1. Cookie basics
Cookies are brief text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help pages function, improve performance and give site operators information about usage. A session cookie disappears when the browser closes, while a persistent cookie remains for a defined period or until you delete it.
We may also use comparable technologies, such as web beacons, pixel tags and local-storage files. In this policy, the term “cookies” includes these related tools.
2. Types of cookies
2.1 Necessary cookies
These cookies enable the Service to function. They cover core activities such as authentication, session management, security and distributing traffic. The platform may be unavailable without them, so consent is not needed for their operation.
2.2 Measurement and performance cookies
These cookies collect aggregated, de-identified data about how the Service is used, including popular pages, error occurrences and loading speeds. We use these insights to improve the platform, and they are enabled only with your consent.
2.3 Preference cookies
These cookies remember selections such as language, time zone, chart layout and notification preferences, avoiding the need to set them again on each visit.
2.4 Promotional and audience cookies
Marketing cookies can tailor advertising, measure campaign results and limit repeated adverts. They are activated only after you give express permission.
3. Third-party cookies
Some cookies come from external providers we use, including Google Analytics, Meta and LinkedIn. Each provider has separate privacy practices for collected data, so you should read their policies.
4. Managing your cookie preferences
You can control cookie use in these ways:
- Website settings: Select the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer whenever you want to review or change your consent choices.
- Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to reject new cookies, clear existing ones and set permissions for particular websites. Refer to your browser’s help information for instructions.
- External opt-out tools: To opt out of Google Analytics, visit tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. For broader interest-based advertising choices, visit youronlinechoices.com.
Disabling certain cookies may limit Service features. Essential cookies cannot be disabled.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when technology, legislation or our practices change. Significant revisions will be posted on the platform. Continued use of the Service after an update indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
6. How to reach us
If you have questions about our use of cookies, contact us at [email protected] or write to Westrelaine Pty Ltd, 1 Martin Place, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia, Australia.
